Another free course is here, and this time we bring you a complete course for free. This comprehensive tutorial covers the entire process from modeling to rendering, focusing on the iconic F1 car, the McLaren MCL36. This choice ensures a challenging subject for both modeling and texturing, providing you with valuable insights and skills. To follow this tutorial effectively, you should have basic knowledge of the software used in the course, with a duration of +12 hours.
Tutorial Contents:
Modeling
+7 hours of the modeling process in Blender, starting from scratch and progressing to a complete model. We leverage the efficiency and power of Blender to achieve a high-quality, clean model. After this step, the model is ready for export to the next phase.
Unwrapping & Texturing
+4 hours of unwrapping in Rizom UV and texturing in Substance Painter. Rizom UV provides an efficient and flexible workflow, and for higher quality, we utilize Udims to maximize space and create larger islands to work on. Following the unwrapping, we proceed to texture our model in Substance Painter, utilizing its array of tools and resources. Due to our choice of the render engine, we work with the Unreal Engine template and export all the textures using this template.
Rendering
In the rendering phase, we opt for the best real-time render engine, Marmoset Toolbag. After importing the model and textures, we create materials using our textures and set up lighting and the camera for the final presentation.
